Chatham Financial is seeking an accounting professional at the Vice President level to join its Accounting Advisory team. The role focuses on hedge accounting, financial risk management, and complex reporting, offering exposure to diverse hedging programs for multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related education.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, technical accounting, financial reporting, corporate accounting or treasury accounting.
• Strong interest in technical accounting and US GAAP/IFRS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong client-service orientation and ability to manage priorities.

Responsabilités

• Develop hedge accounting expertise across interest rate, FX, and commodity hedging programs.
• Advise on structuring, implementation, and ongoing accounting of hedging strategies and disclosures.
• Prepare technical accounting analyses and recommendations for clients and auditors.
• Manage client relationships and provide ongoing accounting guidance through hedging lifecycles.
• Lead projects to design and implement hedge accounting programs aligned with client objectives.
• Collaborate with teams to prepare accounting deliverables and ensure timely reporting.
