Texas Health Action seeks a strategic VP of Health Information & Technology to lead IT, HIM, data governance, and security. You will partner with the CEO to align technology with patient care, compliance, and growth.

Responsibilities include steering the IT strategy, overseeing clinical systems (EHR, telehealth), and ensuring scalable, secure infrastructure across four locations in TX. A strong healthcare IT background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in information systems, healthcare administration, business, CS, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred (MHA, MBA, MPH, MS in Health Informatics or IS).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CHCIO, PMP, CAHIMS, CPDHTS, CPHIMS, CISSP) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT, clinical applications, data, and information management and security functions.
• Partner with CEO and executive team to develop multi-year technology and data strategy.
• Translate strategy into roadmaps, budgets, and operational plans for IT & HIM.
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of information systems.
• Oversee EHR, telehealth, and revenue cycle technologies for patient care.
• Drive enterprise data capabilities: reporting, quality, and analytics.
• Lead cybersecurity strategy and risk management; ensure regulatory compliance.
