Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking an experienced Vice President of Governance, Risk & Compliance to lead an enterprise-wide GRC program across a complex nonprofit health and human services organization in New Hampshire. You will craft strategy, drive governance structures, standardize risk practices and provide board-ready visibility into risks and compliance performance.

You will partner with executive leadership, Legal, Finance, IT and program operations to embed risk-informed decision making,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
• Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
• 10+ years in compliance, risk, governance, or related leadership.
• Experience designing or maturing an enterprise GRC program.
• Strong communication with executives and boards.
• Knowledge of COSO ERM and regulatory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature enterprise GRC framework, governance model and roadmaps.
• Lead risk assessments, risk register, mitigation and monitoring.
• Oversee integrated governance, risk and compliance programs.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations while ensuring timely responses.
• Lead executive and board reporting on risk, controls and maturity.
• Develop risk appetite and align with strategic objectives.
• Drive culture of risk awareness and accountability.
