Job summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks a VP of Network Architecture & Cyber Security to shape carrier-grade network design and cyber security across core, transport, and IP domains. You will lead the Network Engineering and Cyber Security teams, drive architecture standards, and manage regulatory compliance to deliver secure, scalable telecom services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15–20 years of telecom network architecture and cyber security leadership.
• Experience leading carrier‑grade network architecture and security programs.
• Proven ability to scale engineering and security organizations across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end network architecture strategy across core, transport, IP, and interconnect domains.
• Establish architecture standards, governance, and reference architectures.
• Drive security strategy, risk management, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Lead security architecture reviews for new services and integrations.
• Oversee incident response playbooks, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Present strategy, risk posture, and roadmap priorities to executives.
