Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a visionary VP of Network Architecture & Cyber Security to lead the design and security of our carrier-grade network infrastructure. You will define architecture across core, transport, and IP domains while building a comprehensive cyber security program to protect assets and data.

The ideal candidate will lead Network Engineering and Cyber Security teams, set governance and roadmaps, and partner with engineering, product, and executive leadership to ensure scalable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; master’s preferred.
• 15–20 years in telecom network architecture and cyber security leadership.
• Proven track record managing large, distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end network architecture strategy for core, transport, IP, and interconnect.
• Define security strategy, architecture, and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead security reviews, audits, and compliance activities.
• Develop governance, standards, and engineering processes.
• Partner with executive teams to align strategy with business goals.
• Drive incident response capabilities and risk remediation programs.
• Mentor and grow Network Engineering and Cyber Security leaders.
