Job summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks a VP of Network Architecture & Cyber Security to lead carrier-grade network design, scheduling, and security across core, transport, and IP domains. You will set architecture standards, guide multi-year security roadmaps, and drive compliance for critical telecom assets and customer data.

The role requires broad senior leadership experience, global-scale deployments, and deep expertise in risk management, Zero Trust, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 15–20+ years in telecom network architecture, engineering, or cyber security
• Leadership experience managing large engineering and security teams
• Experience with carrier-grade network architecture and security programs
• Experience shaping enterprise-scale network and security strategies

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end network architecture strategy across core, transport, IP, interconnect domains
• Define and drive cyber security strategy, architecture, and multi-year roadmap
• Lead security reviews for new services, deployments, and partner integrations
• Establish security policies and controls for secure development and operations
• Drive vulnerability management, patching, and risk remediation
• Present strategy, risk posture, and roadmap priorities to executives
