Job summary

Nium in San Francisco and globally is seeking a VP of Product to lead strategy, commercial performance, and end-to-end evolution of our global payments product portfolio, with focus on payments infrastructure, card issuance, and stablecoins/digital assets.

Reporting to the CEO, you will translate company priorities into differentiated products, own market fit, GTM readiness, adoption, revenue, and long-term performance, while partnering with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant product leadership experience in fintech, payments, or card networks.
• Experience owning strategy, execution, and portfolio performance.
• Strong understanding of payments infrastructure and money movement.
• Experience with card issuance/processing and card lifecycle.
• Knowledge of stablecoins or digital-asset infrastructure.
• Proven end-to-end product leadership from discovery to lifecycle management.
• Ability to connect product decisions to pricing, revenue, and unit economics.
• Executive-facing communication and global market experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate as mini-GM and accountable product owner for a large portfolio including payments, card issuance, and stablecoin capabilities.
• Own the complete product lifecycle from discovery to retirement and roadmap prioritization.
• Define product strategy and roadmap with CEO and executives; represent Product in high-level discussions.
• Own commercial success through pricing, packaging, monetization, and performance against revenue and adoption metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Solutions, and Customer Success to define market segments and go-to-market plans.
• Build a customer-insight engine through direct engagement and research to validate product-market fit.
• Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and technology trends to drive differentiation.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, decision-making, and execution under governance.
