Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group is seeking a VP Strategic Sourcing - Marketing to lead end-to-end sourcing for global marketing spend, including agencies, creative, and media buying. This role partners with Global Marketing, negotiates complex contracts, and manages supplier relationships across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has deep marketing procurement experience, strong negotiation and analytics, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with focus on Marketing.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing sourcing strategies across sub-categories (Creative, Brand Agencies, Media Buying).
• Lead supplier selection, RFx, contract negotiations, and performance management with business owners.
• Conduct spend analysis using AI tools to forecast demand and drive sourcing decisions.
• Monitor market dynamics, regulatory changes, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and third-party risk controls.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and TPRM to draft complex contracts and SLAs.
