Jobgether, listed on behalf of a partner, seeks a VP, International Communications in the United States to lead global communications strategy for a major decentralized blockchain ecosystem.

You will oversee narrative development, executive messaging, media relations, and crisis management, translating complex technical developments into clear, credible stories for diverse audiences while building a high-performing communications function.

Qualificações

• 10–15 years of experience in communications leadership in high-scrutiny environments.
• Established relationships with leading business, financial, and technology journalists.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, repeatable messaging.
• Hands-on drafting of critical statements and management of messaging during crises.
• Experience using AI tools for monitoring, research, drafting, and adversarial review.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain a global narrative grounded in credible, defensible messages.
• Build and manage relationships with U.S. business, financial, technology, and crypto media.
• Lead reputation and crisis communications for incidents, exploits, disputes, and other high-stakes situations.
• Establish incident-response frameworks, severity levels, and pre-approved response language.
• Advise senior leadership on executive positioning and communications strategy.
• Develop a network of credible independent voices to advocate the ecosystem.
• Support ecosystem teams through product launches and founder media training.
• Translate protocol and governance developments into accessible messaging for technical and general audiences.
• Coordinate with Policy and Legal teams on regulatory developments.
