Job summary

Landing Point, a leading global private investment firm, seeks a Vice President to join its U.S. Corporate Finance organization in Boston. The role offers broad visibility across the firm and exposure to senior finance leadership.

You will oversee internal and external accounting and reporting for the Management Company and affiliates, lead the Accounting team, and drive a transformation agenda through process improvement and automation using AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership roles.
• Strong grounding in US GAAP, tax basis accounting and consolidated reporting.
• Experience managing multi-layered teams and offshore or outsourced partners.
• Track record transforming processes and implementing AI/automation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal and external accounting and reporting across the Management Company and affiliates.
• Provide senior leadership to the Accounting team and work with the U.S. Controller.
• Oversee covenant and regulatory reporting to external parties.
• Lead external audits in collaboration with auditors.
• Drive finance operations improvements including A/P, A/R, and treasury.
• Lead transformation across Corporate Finance focusing on process optimization and automation.
• Assess processes and controls to identify gaps and mitigate risks.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking a Vice President to join its U.S. Corporate Finance organization. This role offers broad visibility across the firm and significant exposure to senior finance leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee internal and external accounting and reporting functions across the Management Company and affiliated entities.
• Provide senior leadership and oversight to the Accounting team, working closely with managers and under the direction of the U.S. Controller.
• Oversee deliverables to external parties, including covenant and regulatory reporting.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in external audits, working directly with auditors.
• Provide leadership across finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury management.
• Lead a transformation agenda across Corporate Finance, focusing on process improvement and automation.
• Conduct assessments of key processes and controls to identify gaps and mitigate risks.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including significant leadership roles.
• Strong technical grounding in U.S. GAAP, tax basis accounting, and consolidated reporting.
• Experience managing multi-layered teams and offshore or outsourced partners.
• A track record of leading process and systems transformation, including applying AI and automation.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills, with a track record of building trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders.

Compensation

Salary: $230,000 - $265,000, Plus Bonus
