Job summary

Capstone is seeking a hands-on accounting leader to own the entire finance function. You will direct the team, re-engineer workflows with AI, and treat automation as the default.

This role sits at the center of a lean, modernizing finance organization and progresses toward a controller title as the business scales. You will own the end-to-end close across the US and UK, ensure US GAAP compliance, manage ASC 606 revenue recognition, AR/AP, payroll, and treasury relationships.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience with multi-entity responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end monthly close across US and UK.
• Maintain GL integrity and external audit readiness.
• Oversee revenue recognition, AR, and AP.
• Lead automation of finance workflows and ERP.
• Coach a growing accounting team.
• Collaborate with Head of Finance on strategic priorities.
