Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Vice President, Fund Reporting to lead a Financial Reporting team in Lake Mary, Florida. This hybrid role combines office and remote work, with 4 days in the office currently.

You will oversee financial statements for funds, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and Regulation S-X, and drive efficiency through AI-enabled improvements while mentoring a professional staff and partnering with auditors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Regulation S-X, and fund accounting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Financial Reporting team delivering statements for funds and clients while driving performance and execution.
• Oversee review of financial statements for compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Direct end-to-end production of financial statements for complex funds with high-quality output and timely delivery.
• Deliver management information on team performance, risks, and deliverable status.
• Review and sign off on draft reports and supporting calculations to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Partner with internal teams, clients, auditors, and external parties to support delivery and continuous improvement.
• Drive process improvements including AI/automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.
