Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a Vice President, Fund Reporting to join our Financial Reporting team in a hybrid role located in Lake Mary, Florida. Lead a team delivering financial statements for funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and Regulation S-X.

You will drive end-to-end production for complex funds, provide performance insights, and partner with clients, auditors, and internal teams to continuously improve delivery and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional accounting designation preferred.
• Experience leading financial reporting teams in funds or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Regulation S-X applicable to fund reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a Financial Reporting team delivering statutory statements for clients and funds.
• Oversee review of financial statements for compliance with US GAAP and Regulation S-X.
• Direct end-to-end production of complex fund financial statements with strong controls.
• Deliver management information on team performance, risks, and deliverable status.
• Sign off on draft reports and supporting calculations to ensure integrity.
• Partner with internal teams, clients, auditors, and external parties for delivery and improvements.
• Drive process improvements, including AI and automation to enhance efficiency.
• Evaluate adoption of AI-enabled tools to strengthen reporting workflows.
• Attract, develop, and retain talent; coach and motivate the team.
• Act as SVP delegate when required to ensure leadership continuity.
