Job summary

TPG is seeking a highly analytical Vice President to join the PubCo team in Fort Worth. The role focuses on technical accounting for fund operations and corporate structures, ensuring transactions are structured and reported in accordance with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA license required.
• 5–8 years of general and technical accounting experience from public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Experience with complex transactions and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fund accounting and finance teams to analyze and structure complex transactions.
• Determine and document accounting treatment for fund transactions; liaise with external auditors.
• Review and develop accounting policies for compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulations.
• Research new accounting pronouncements related to private equity/alternative asset industry and lead implementations.
• Review financial statements and regulatory filings for GAAP consistency; provide industry insights.
• Incorporate and maintain SOX controls within the technical accounting function.
• Partner with leadership to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
