Job summary

TPG is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Associate to join the office of the Chief Accounting Officer - Credit. Reporting to a Vice President, the Associate will handle data collection, reporting tasks, and file ownership in a fast-paced setting.

You will work with Credit and Real Estate teams, gaining exposure to complex fund concepts and cross-platform reporting. This role offers a path to learn fund concepts while supporting financial operations and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in public accounting or financial services with exposure to investment management and SEC reporting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation (completed or in process) is required.
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas and data presentation) are essential; experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or Advent Geneva is a significant plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of building relationships across different functional groups.
• A proactive owner mindset with a strong interest in leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve traditional accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data collection and financial reporting across Credit and Real Estate platforms.
• Prepare initial variance analyses and trend reports for VP and CAO- Credit.
• Assist in drafting fund-specific communications for public filings.
• Support automation efforts using Alteryx/Power BI and maintain workflows.
