Job summary

The candidate will oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, coordinate with auditors, and mentor a team while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required).
• 7+ years of accounting experience; public accounting preferred.
• Experience with debt/equity investments and private equity funds.
• Partnership accounting and general ledger proficiency.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly/quarterly accounting and reporting packages, including fund NAVs and investor statements.
• Prepare ad hoc reports, management fee analysis, cash flow analysis, and assist with client audits and financial reporting requests.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to daily cash activity, investments, currency purchases/exchanges, and fund expenses.
• Close period-end with mark-to-market valuation, FX adjustments, accruals, and other related entries.
