Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate in Dallas to support the Controllers function within Asset & Wealth Management. You will review fund valuations and NAVs, assist with financial reporting, and support launches and liquidations while coordinating with auditors and fund administrators.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of accounting experience, a BA/MA in Accounting, and strong analytical skills. Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and Excel is essential; CA with fund exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Related experience: 4-7 years.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Master's Degree in Accounting preferred.
• CA with alt investments/private funds experience and process management desired.
• Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and coordinating with Big 4 during audits helpful.
• Accounting knowledge of financial products like swaps and options desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• MS Office (Word, Excel) required.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and work in a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter, inquisitive with analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard assets and reputation; ensure compliance with policies and global regulations.
• Review quarterly/monthly valuations and NAVs for funds; review year-end financial statements.
• Support fund launch and liquidation processes.
• Handle corporate, regulatory and management reporting for funds.
• Collaborate with Business Teams, Product Services, Operations, IT and Trading Divisions.
• Coordinate with fund administrators and auditors.
