Job summary

Goldman Sachs seeks a Vice President in Dallas for the Fund Accounting Team. You will prepare and book journal entries, manage monthly/quarterly reporting, and support client audits with a focus on private equity funds and complex investments.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with debt/equity investments, partnership accounting, and general ledger duties. Managerial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Strong accounting background, including booking journal entries and reconciliations.
• Excel, communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• 7+ years experience; Public Accounting preferable.
• Experience with debt/equity investments and private equity funds.
• Partnership accounting; General ledger experience.
• Managerial experience in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting packages for private equity funds.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting, cash flow analysis, and client audit support.
• Record journal entries for daily cash activity, investments, currency exchanges, and fund expenses.
• Close periods with mark-to-market valuation, currency adjustments, accruals, and related transactions.
