Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a visionary Vice President of Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead enterprise financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision support across the health system.

The role partners with the CFO and executive leadership to drive long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics, enabling value-based care, capital planning, and mergers or acquisitions strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA, CPA, MHA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
Minimum ten years of healthcare finance experience, including at least five years in senior leadership.
Executive finance leadership in a large integrated health system; revenues > $3B.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, strategic planning, and transformation.
Advanced proficiency with enterprise financial systems (Workday, Strata Decision Technology, Power BI).

Responsibilities

Lead all enterprise financial planning activities, including annual operating and capital budgets, long-range financial plans, rolling forecasts, and strategic financial modeling.
Develop integrated financial plans that align organizational resources with the health system's strategic priorities.
Provide executive leadership with timely analysis of financial performance, emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
Lead enterprise service line profitability analysis, margin improvement initiatives, and ROI analyses.
Translate complex financial information into concise, actionable recommendations for executive and Board decision-making.
Oversee system services benchmarking and monthly/quarterly/annual financial performance reviews.
