Job summary

Capital Health in Lawrenceville, NJ is seeking a Manager FP&A to lead budgeting and financial planning across service lines. This role translates complex financial data into insights for a diverse set of stakeholders, drives long-term financial sustainability, and mentors a team of analysts.

You will partner with department leaders to monitor operating and capital budgets, develop robust models, identify risks and opportunities, and present findings to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Four years of healthcare financial accounting and reporting experience; two years in leadership when paired with a Bachelor's.
• Experience with multi-site budgeting and capital allocation.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and healthcare regulatory practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting for assigned service lines.
• Partner with department leaders to develop operating and capital budgets aligned with goals.
• Design financial models and perform analyses to evaluate growth opportunities.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities; provide ad hoc analyses for strategy.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and explain findings to leadership.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages.
• Collaborate with FP&A Analytics to develop robust metrics and reports.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for operations.
• Manage a team of analysts and foster accountability and development.
• Implement best practices to enhance budgeting and reporting efficiency.
• Maintain expert knowledge of budgeting systems and modules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
