Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a visionary Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across the organization. This role reports to the Senior VP Finance and collaborates with senior leaders to drive performance, capital allocation, and cost optimization.

The ideal candidate will build world-class FP&A processes, deliver metrics and dashboards for the board, and mentor a diverse team across the US and India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred with 10+ years in FP&A.
• Experience leading large teams and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term financial plans aligned with strategic objectives.
• Own annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and real-time performance insights.
• Provide analysis to senior leadership and board with dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate across operations, sales, marketing, and HR for financial guidance.
• Establish KPIs and model scenarios for strategic investments and cost control.
• Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team across US and India.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls while managing capex.
• Partner with CFO and executive team to align shared services strategy.
