Job summary

Mastercard in Purchase, NY seeks a Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the US region with NAM consolidation. You will partner with business units and executives to translate strategy into financial plans and communicate drivers and risks.

The role requires strong analytics, advanced Excel, Oracle/Hyperion/Tableau proficiency, and experience building cross‑functional partnerships to drive value and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; MBA preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, lookups, index, sumif) and experience with Oracle/Hyperion/Tableau.
• Strong track record building internal and external partnerships to understand stakeholder needs.
• Extensive experience modelling and performing predictive analytics for financial and operational analysis.
• Experience leading a multi-functional finance organization and advising leadership on risk and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units, regions, and corporate to manage budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and target setting.
• Communicate budget drivers and link financial performance to strategy; develop quarterly reviews and CEO decks.
• Advise on external factors affecting performance using SME of budgeting and long-range planning.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify revenue opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Perform variance analysis and articulate recommendations to leadership.
