Job summary

Simplex Hires LLC is partnering with a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed firm seeking a VP/Head of FP&A to lead forecasting, financial analysis, and modeling across a complex on-prem and SaaS revenue environment. The role is 100% remote in the United States and will support due diligence and the sale process.

You will own P&L reporting, build robust financial models, and drive scenario planning while managing a team of around nine.

Qualifications

15+ years in FP&A or leadership within tech, focused on forecasting, analysis and modeling.
Experience leading a successful transaction (or multiple).
Familiarity with On-Prem Software (Subscription-Based Recurring Revenue) environments or SaaS.
Experience applying AI tools for process improvement and workflow automation.
Experience in large, 500+ employee organizations with 200M+ revenue.

Responsibilities

Support due diligence and transaction over the next 18 months with PE sponsor and buyer.
Gain deep understanding of the business—Forecasting, Sales cycles (9+ months), Revenue recognition (ASC 606).
Lead P&L reporting and forecasting processes with high accuracy and transparency.
Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and KPI visibility.
Manage a team of ~9.
