Job summary

Gateway Group Personnel seeks a Vice President of FP&A & Commercial Excellence to lead a global finance function from a remote USA base. Reporting to the CFO, you will align operational drivers with financial outcomes, build an international team, and accelerate profitable growth and transformation.

You will own budgeting, rolling forecasts, long‑range planning, and pricing strategy while partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimize revenue, margins, and channel profitability

Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience in global FP&A and commercial finance.
• Leadership of international finance teams with coaching track record.
• Proven partnership across Sales, Marketing, Operations driving revenue/margin improvements.
• Expertise in integrated business planning, forecasting, pricing, and performance management.
• Strong systems/analytics skills; ERP and BI platforms experience.
• Public accounting background, MBA/CPA advantageous.

• Lead a global FP&A and commercial finance team across regions and currencies.
• Own global budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and IBI across regions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations on pricing, promotions, revenue growth and channel profitability.
• Provide financial leadership on distributor commissions, incentives, and direct-selling economics.
• Drive margin improvement through pricing, mix, and cost analysis.
• Strengthen financial processes, data integrity, reporting, and analytics; leverage ERP and Power BI.

REMOTE USA OPPORTUNTY. Vice President of FP&A & Commercial Excellence.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created position will lead global financial planning and commercial finance, develop a high-performing international team, and help accelerate profitable growth and business transformation. The successful candidate will connect operational drivers with financial results and turn analysis into forward-looking business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a global team of approximately six professionals across FP&A, commercial finance, strategic initiatives, and business intelligence.


• Own global budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and integrated business planning across multiple regions and currencies.


• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations on pricing, promotional investments, revenue growth, product mix, and channel profitability.


• Provide financial leadership around distributor commissions, sales incentives, and the economics of direct-selling, subscription, and digital commerce channels.


• Drive margin improvement through rigorous analysis of pricing, mix, operating costs, and commercial investments.


• Strengthen financial processes, data integrity, reporting, and analytics; leverage ERP systems, Power BI, and automation to improve decision-making.


• Support a business turnaround by delivering near-term improvements while establishing a scalable financial planning foundation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Significant progressive experience in global FP&A and commercial finance, ideally within consumer packaged goods (CPG).


• Proven leadership of international finance teams, with a strong record of coaching and developing talent.


• Demonstrated success partnering across the business and driving measurable improvements in revenue, margins, or profitability.


• Expertise in integrated business planning, forecasting, pricing, promotional effectiveness, and financial performance management.


• Strong systems and analytical capabilities; comfortable improving legacy processes and working with ERP and business intelligence platforms.


• Experience in business transformation or performance improvement; public accounting foundation, CPA, or MBA is advantageous.


• Exposure to direct selling, distributor incentives, or subscription/e-commerce business models is desirable, but not required.
