Oakleaf Partnership is seeking a Head of FP&A Transformation for a leading global consumer products organization in Stamford, CT. This role will lead the modernization of global FP&A and Commercial Finance capabilities, shaping the operating model, technology and data strategy.

You will drive standardization, automation and AI adoption, build scalable profitability analytics and partner with Commercial, Sales and executive leadership to embed new capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or related areas.
• Experience modernizing FP&A and/or Commercial Finance capabilities.
• Strong skills in profitability analysis, forecasting and performance management.
• Experience with planning tools, analytics platforms, automation or AI-enabled solutions.
• Exposure to trade spend, RGM, pricing or marketing ROI is highly desirable.

A leading global consumer products organization is undergoing a significant transformation of its finance function and is seeking a Head of FP&A Transformation to lead the modernization of its global FP&A and Commercial Finance capabilities.

The organization is investing heavily in commercial capabilities, technology, data and operational excellence, with Finance playing an increasingly strategic role in supporting the next stage of growth.

This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership position focused specifically on transforming FP&A and Commercial Finance, rather than traditional accounting, controllership or ERP transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global FP&A transformation roadmap, including the standardization and globalization of planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management.
• The role will have significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the future operating model, technology and capabilities of the FP&A organization.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and digitize FP&A processes and reduce manual activity.
• Drive the adoption of AI, automation and advanced analytics across FP&A and Commercial Finance.
• Build scalable capabilities around SKU, customer, category and channel profitability.
• Develop tools and methodologies supporting pricing, gross-to-net analysis and Revenue Growth Management.
• Improve visibility and ROI analysis across trade spend, advertising and marketing investment.
• Introduce stronger driver-based planning, scenario modelling and forecasting capabilities.
• Develop scalable reporting and decision-support tools that enable the business to access insights more quickly.
• Partner closely with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Technology and Executive Leadership to embed new capabilities across the organization.
• Lead transformational initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption.
• Build and develop a high-performing team as the function continues to evolve.

Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of experience across FP&A, Commercial Finance, Finance Transformation, Strategic Finance, Revenue Growth Management or related areas.
• Experience within CPG, consumer products, manufacturing, retail or another complex global environment.
• A proven track record of standardizing, simplifying or modernizing FP&A and/or Commercial Finance capabilities.
• Strong experience with profitability analysis, forecasting, business performance management and commercial decision support.
• Experience implementing planning tools, analytics platforms, automation, AI-enabled solutions or other technology-driven finance capabilities.
• Exposure to trade spend, RGM, pricing or marketing ROI is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to operate effectively in an environment of ambiguity and change.
