Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Fleet Maintenance to lead the enterprise-wide fleet maintenance strategy, ensuring uptime, safety, and cost efficiency across all shop locations and external vendors.

This role partners with distribution, transportation, safety, procurement, and finance to translate business goals into disciplined maintenance practices, while building leadership across the network and advancing Ashley’s operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in fleet maintenance or asset-intensive environments.
• Experience leading multi-site maintenance operations for large, company-owned fleets.
• Strong financial acumen including cost modeling and ROI analysis.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise fleet maintenance strategy and governance.
• Define nationwide policies across all shops and external vendors.
• Ensure consistent execution of maintenance standards across sites.
• Own total cost of ownership strategy for fleet assets.
• Partner with Finance and Procurement on budgeting and capital planning.
• Develop fleet leadership and succession planning.
