Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTI) in New York seeks a senior product/engineering–oriented professional to lead and execute product and project workstreams across diverse stakeholders. You will partner with Finance, Operations, Real Estate, and Private Equity to design scalable, code-driven solutions that automate complex business processes and models.

The ideal candidate sits at the intersection of product, business analysis, and engineering, with strong technical fluency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or software engineering
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, CS, Mathematics, or related field
• Experience in real estate or private equity with performance calculations, deal life cycle, forecasting, and investor reporting
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Experience with Python, SQL, data pipelines, or backend logic
• Knowledge of software development concepts: version control, testing, and deployment
• Experience with modern BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Sigma) and data structures
• Exposure to cloud platforms or modern data architectures
• Hands-on contributor while influencing technical direction
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to bridge business and technical audiences for senior stakeholders
• Comfortable in a global, cross-functional team environment

Responsabilités

• Translate business needs into clear, structured technical requirements including data models and logic flows
• Partner with engineering teams to design scalable, maintainable solutions using modern languages and architectures
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy solutions into code-based implementations
• Design, build, and implement solutions using Python, SQL and cloud-based services
• Contribute to solution architecture discussions balancing performance, scalability and maintainability
• Manage project delivery by defining milestones and providing updates to stakeholders
• Lead UAT with focus on validating logic, data integrity, and system behavior
• Oversee data migration, reconciliation, and validation for accuracy and auditability
• Collaborate with offshore and affiliate teams with clear technical communication
• Serve as technical-functional bridge supporting end users and adoption of robust solutions
• Promote best practices in system design, data management and process automation
