Adastra Resource Group is seeking a Vice President of Finance / Controller to lead the financial function for a growing manufacturing organization in North Carolina. This hands-on leadership role oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, compliance, and financial strategy, partnering with the CEO and executive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• Hands-on Epicor Kinetic experience required.
• Manufacturing or operationally complex industry background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and planning.
• ERP implementations, upgrades, or process optimization experience preferred.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on finance with strategic business partnership.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, AP/AR, and internal controls.
• Oversee monthly and annual financial close and provide accurate financial reporting to executive leadership.
• Develop P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.
• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO and leadership team.
• Manage banking relationships, lender compliance, tax, insurance, and external audit activities.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage Epicor Kinetic to improve financial visibility, reporting, and business processes.
• Support ERP optimization, integrations, and other technology initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis for pricing, capital investments, contracts, acquisitions, and strategic decisions.
