Zusammenfassung

TSI Group is seeking a Controller to lead the financial and accounting operations of a Tulsa-based manufacturing facility. You will manage the accounting team, produce periodic financial reports, and ensure robust controls and accurate financial statements.

Responsibilities include cost analysis, month-end close, payroll for hourly staff, inventory oversight, and compliance with ASPE. Strong English communication and ERP experience are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP; Epicor is a plus.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Review and analyze manufacturing costs, overhead, and G&A; advise on cost management and pricing.
• Ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses per standards.
• Analyze data, summarize, and recommend resource optimization and process improvements.
• Support the annual business assessment process.
• Oversee physical inventory counts and reconciliations, including assets.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, year-end close and timely reporting.
• Oversee payroll processing for hourly employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain chart of accounts and accurate P&L/Balance Sheet recording per ASPE.
• Maintain control system over accounting transactions.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, AP, vendor payments, AR, cash application, and credit/collections.
• Collaborate with Corporate Office on state/federal reporting and input tax filings.

The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting operations of the manufacturing facility including managing the accounting team, the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, implementing appropriate controls, developing budgets designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and providing strategic financial guidance to the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze manufacturing costs, overhead, and G&A expenses and offer recommendations for cost management strategies, overhead absorption rates, and pricing
• Ensure the accurate and timely recording and analysis of revenues and expenses in-line with financial reporting standards
• Analyze financial data, summarize, and provide strategic recommendations for optimizing resource utilization, operational efficiency, and process improvements
• Support the annual business assessment process
• Oversee all physical inventory counts and reconciliations, including assets
• Oversee the completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient financial reporting
• Oversee payroll processing for hourly employees and ensure both accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
• Maintain responsibility for the chart of accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial data in the P&L and Balance Sheet in accordance with ASPE guidelines
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
• Oversee bank reconciliations, the accounts payable process, vendor payment controls, accounts receivable management, cash application, and credit & collections with an emphasis on aged invoices and credit limit monitoring
• Manage state and federal government reporting requirements and input tax filings in a joint effort with Corporate Office

Experience, Qualifications & Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or comparable experience
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or equivalent designation is preferred
• 5 – 10 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with a manufacturing-related ERP; prior experience with Epicor an asset
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills coupled with the demonstrated ability to resolve challenges with other Finance department members and non-Finance managers
• Strong manufacturing accounting knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to work independently and be a subject matter expect in all aspects of accounting and finance
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be highly organized
• Strong comprehension and analytical skills
