Job summary

Blake Smith Staffing LLC seeks a Controller to direct all accounting operations for the company’s domestic business, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. You will partner with the CFO and international teams to consolidate global results and provide actionable insights using Epicor ERP, Power BI, Copilot, ChatGPT, and API-driven reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations for the domestic business units.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage month-end and year-end close with deadlines.
• Review reconciliations for balance sheet and GL accounts.
• Maintain integrity of financial records and reporting systems.
• Analyze financial performance and provide executive recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital needs.
• Consolidate results from international operations with global finance partners.
• Oversee manufacturing accounting, inventory valuation, and cost accounting.
• Collaborate with operations to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Oversee payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
• Coordinate external audits and tax engagements; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Lead AI-enabled reporting and automation initiatives; develop BI dashboards.
