Job summary

Citi is seeking a VP-level Business Architect to translate complex finance and technology challenges into clear architecture. You will help define and evolve Citi's Finance functional architecture, contributing to current-state documentation and future-state design with a growing focus on AI and automation.

You will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Finance, and tech teams to map processes, data dependencies, and governance, while promoting responsible AI and aligning investments to

Qualifications

• 6+ years in engineering and/or architecture supporting Finance or related functions.
• Cross-functional experience in business process improvement and enterprise architecture change.
• Strong communication skills enabling engagement up to senior management.
• AI/ML and GenAI knowledge relevant to Finance use cases.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic direction for Enterprise Business Architecture across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations.
• Collaborate with Finance and Shared Services to document current and future-state business architectures anchored to processes.
• Map data dependencies with data architects to align data architecture with business objectives.
• Engage technical partners to align investments to target state architecture and governance frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to embed AI, ML, and GenAI within Finance processes and ensure responsible AI use.
