Job summary

Electra in Manassas, VA is seeking a high‑impact VP of Finance & Accounting to own controllership, FP&A, treasury, and compliance as the company accelerates toward FAA type certification and commercialization.

You will report to the CEO, partner with manufacturing, engineering, and operations leadership, and lead ERP selection, implementation, and ongoing operation to build a scalable financial backbone for rapid growth and international activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
• CPA required; 15+ years of progressive finance leadership.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, or complex manufacturing preferred.
• ERP selection, implementation, and operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, audit, and reporting activities.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure GAAP, tax, audit, and regulatory compliance.
• Build scalable finance infrastructure and reporting frameworks.
• Lead manufacturing finance and cost accounting for ramp and commercialization.
• Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and margin analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations leadership.
• Support capital planning, tooling investments, and facilities planning.
• Drive process automation and finance systems optimization.
• Lead annual operating plans, forecasting, and long-range modeling.
• Develop KPI dashboards and analytics for executive decision-making.
• Manage auditors, tax advisors, banks, and external partners.
• Oversee international accounting and international operations.
