Job summary

CFS in Westbrook, CT is seeking a VP of Finance to lead all financial planning, reporting, and accounting functions. This is a strategic, CEO-facing role with direct line to the executive team and responsibility for end-to-end finance operations.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, audits, ERP systems, inventory management, and cross-functional partnerships while building and mentoring a high-impact finance team.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree with CPA experience
• 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role
• Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting
• Own the annual budget process and monitor performance against plan (revenue, GM%, EBITDA, expenses)
• Manage AR/AP, ERP systems, and inventory/material management functions
• Coordinate financial audits and drive internal control improvements
• Partner cross-functionally with department leaders on long-term business planning
• Build, coach, and develop the finance team

Salary: Up to $150k + depending on experience
