General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) seeks a Senior Technical Advisor to shape strategic technology solutions for the Veterans Affairs portfolio, guiding vision, strategy, and trends in emerging tech for Federal Health programs.

You will collaborate with Federal Health leadership to drive growth, oversee software development, cloud and cyber security, data analytics incl. AI/ML, and large-scale infrastructure initiatives across major VA programs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree in a technical discipline desired.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience delivering large-scale federal IT programs with demonstrated success managing portfolios exceeding $100M in annual contract value.
• 10+ years of experience leading software engineering organizations utilizing Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps, and product-centric delivery models.
• Progressive experience through engineering, product management, and technical program execution and delivery.
• Experience managing and leading complex federal contracts, subcontractor teams, and geographically dispersed workforces.
• Experience in Federal contracting with significant Veterans Affairs program experience and deep customer intimacy.
• Experience with federal proposal process and execution.
• Strong leadership experience directing multiple large teams for delivery and growth.
• Ability to travel to program sites and customer meetings as needed.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and strategic leadership for a portfolio of programs in software development, enterprise technology solutions and missions service the foes, fostering a culture of innovation and best ideas
• Develop and foster trusted relationships with senior federal executives and mission stakeholders at the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Partner with clients to oversee programs from inception through completion; ensure technical performance exceeds expectations and drive innovation into existing programs
• Identify opportunities to expand program scope and deliver additional value to customers and support strategic account planning and long-term engagement
• Work on complex issues with in-depth knowledge of GDIT’s resources and VA systems landscape
• Participate in developing methods, criteria and tools for projects, programs, and people; cultivate next-gen leaders and technology
• Interact with executives across Federal Health division on matters of significance to customers
• Provide support and guidance to Account Directors, Program Managers, Solutions Architects, and Business Development Executives in Fed Health division
