Job summary

Coast Property Management in Everett, WA is seeking a Vice President Facilities Management to lead strategic facility operations across the portfolio. You will direct maintenance programs, manage vendors, and drive safety and efficiency initiatives with hands-on operational and financial acumen.

The role requires a senior leader with a track record of managing multi-site portfolios, partnering with property managers, and delivering capital projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 10+ years in facilities management with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience managing multi-site portfolios in real estate or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Proven experience managing budgets, capital planning, and vendor contracts.
• Excellent strategic, operational leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to read blueprints and building drawings; proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with work order systems (Yardi, Leonardo 24/7, Site Audit Pro).

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial and multi-family facilities operations and maintenance programs.
• Lead and develop a high-performing facilities team with safety training.
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, licenses, and regulations.
• Plan, track, and report on elevator, fire, and other system services annually.
• Collaborate with regional managers on insurance, inspections, and facilities needs.
• Provide project oversight for scope, permits, bidding and completion.
