Job summary

Stellar Energy Global Infrastructure (SEGI) seeks a VP Fabrication to lead outsourced fabrication activities across SEGI projects. You will select and manage subcontracted facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, PM, Construction, Quality, and EHS.

Responsibilities include developing fabrication strategies, evaluating suppliers, approving SOWs, and driving continuous improvement across the fabrication supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years in industrial fabrication, manufacturing, EPC construction, or related heavy industrial environment.
• Minimum of 5 years overseeing fabrication activities or manufacturing operations for complex projects.
• Experience coordinating third-party fabrication subcontractors or multiple facilities.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication, pressure vessels, piping, welding, and industrial manufacturing practices.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication specs, ITPs, welding docs, and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Lead module fabrication strategy development aligning with SEGI design philosophy.
• Manage supplier evaluation and selection process.
• Qualify fabricators and verify capacity, manpower, equipment, and certifications.
• Audit fabricator QMS and conduct SEGI inspections at facilities.
• Define SOWs and ensure seamless handoff between SEGI and fabricator teams.
• Develop fabricator scorecards and track milestones across projects.
• Coordinate FATs with customers, inspectors, and QA teams.
• Identify fabrication risks early and implement mitigations.
• Provide executive-level reporting on fabrication schedule performance.
