The position reports to the senior vice president, Europe and collaborates with policy, communications, and member relations teams worldwide. The candidate will translate complex regulatory developments into clear strategy, build trusted relationships with government officials and business leaders,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in international affairs, trade, government relations, public policy and regulation, business advocacy, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required with advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of EU institutions and European regulatory processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior executives.
• Experience working with senior government officials and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the senior vice president, Europe on strategic development and growth of the Europe Program.
• Lead advocacy in the EU, member state and other European capitals, and Washington on key policy priorities.
• Provide strategic oversight of energy and sustainability work, including EU regulatory developments.
• Assist in fundraising outreach and membership growth and retention.
• Build relationships with government officials, business leaders, and policy committees.
• Represent the Chamber in public and private settings and coordinate with policy experts and teams.
