FMI Corporation is seeking an experienced investment banking professional to join FMI Capital Advisors, our ESOP Advisory practice, as a Vice President. You will lead transaction execution, oversee end-to-end processes, and work directly with business owners and leadership teams.

The role requires building expertise in ESOP transactions, valuation, tax, and structuring concepts, with a focus on construction/engineering sectors. Denver is preferred, with remote options and 10–30% travel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction advisory.
• 3+ years post-MBA acceptable with demonstrated progression.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and lead junior team members.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Prior ESOP experience valued but not required; eager to learn.
• Familiarity with construction or engineering sectors is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead or co-lead transaction execution of ESOP advisory mandates.
• Support business development for Managing Directors, including prospect research and pitch development.
• Build relationships with clients and serve as a key contact throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Mentor and manage Associates and Analysts across multiple engagements.
• Develop thought leadership and represent FMI at industry events.
• Uphold FMI's Code of Conduct and contribute to firm initiatives.
