Goldman Sachs Capital Solutions Group in New York seeks a Vice President to originate, structure and execute equity capital markets transactions for corporate, financial sponsor and venture capital clients.

The role collaborates with public and private companies, sponsors and investors to deliver financings, including IPOs and follow-ons, across product lines. Strong leadership and client-facing skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in Equity Capital Markets or related area.
• At least 2 years leading deal teams of analysts and associates.
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles and steps to execute ECM transactions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High motivation, attention to detail, and integrity.
• Proven ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Maturity and judgment to work with professionals at all levels.
• Ability to make timely, well-reasoned decisions in complex situations.

Responsabilidades

• Originate and lead equity capital markets transactions for corporate, financial sponsor and venture capital clients
• Develop content for client meetings focused on strategic priorities and potential M&A or capital markets transactions
• Coordinate with junior and senior team members across product and industry groups, client management teams, investors and legal advisors, to execute transactions and evaluate strategic alternatives
• Review the analytical work of junior team members and provide mentorship, direction and oversight to analysts and associates
• Develop creative investor-targeting strategies by analyzing comparable companies, institutional ownership and potential institutional buyers
• Play a vital role throughout the transaction lifecycle, including project management for mission-critical equity financings
