Job summary

Goldman Sachs in New York, NY is seeking a Vice President to join the Equity Structuring team within Private Wealth Management. The role focuses on 10b5-1 plans, executive selling, and restricted stock, delivering bespoke solutions for founders, executives, and major shareholders.

You will educate clients on 10b5-1 rules, draft plans, and collaborate with private wealth advisors, Legal and Compliance. The team supports platform expansion and client prospecting through cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in financial markets.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with SEC rules and filings.
• SIE, Series 7 and 63 required (must be obtained within three months of employment).

Responsibilities

• Educate clients on 10b5-1 plans and related rules (e.g., Form 144 and Form 4 filings).
• Structure and draft 10b5-1 plans to align with clients' objectives.
• Partner with private wealth advisors, the 10b5-1 trading team and internal partners (Legal/Compliance).
• Conduct due diligence on client restrictions from SEC rules, IPOs, and M&A events.
• Create client-facing marketing materials and educate clients and prospects.
• Collaborate with engineering and business partners to expand technology and workflows.
