Job summary

Vizient is seeking an AVP to lead Data & Digital enterprise execution, driving governance, alignment, and delivery of top-priority initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating strategy into durable results and establishing execution discipline across the portfolio.

You will guide cross-functional teams, refine decision rights, and ensure measurable impact, balancing risks and opportunities with a bias toward action.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in program management, transformation, or enterprise execution
• Proven track record delivering large, ambiguous initiatives to completion
• Strong executive presence with senior leaders
• Ability to operate independently with minimal direction and bias toward action
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience in matrixed or complex organizations
• Background supporting large, enterprise transformations
• Ability to navigate informal influence networks
• Capacity to challenge leaders constructively

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise execution portfolio and maintain a single view of priorities, sequencing, and risk.
• Establish governance frameworks aligning strategy with execution commitments.
• Translate executive direction into structured, outcome-driven plans with clear owners and milestones.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional initiatives across the organization.
• Provide leaders with concise, high-signal views of initiative health and tradeoffs.
• Institutionalize execution rhythm, reporting standards, and portfolio reviews.
• Champion accountability and operational excellence across the portfolio.
