Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking an AVP, Information Security to lead the enterprise security program, protect PHI, and partner with executives to integrate security into operations. You will guide incident response, threat detection, and governance across clinical and corporate tech environments.

You will build a high-performing security team, develop risk-based priorities, and ensure regulatory compliance while aligning security with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with security operations and incident response.
• Experience leading a security team of 6+ people.
• Healthcare security experience and HIPAA knowledge.
• Experience with security due diligence for acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Directs enterprise security operations and incident handling.
• Matures Security Operations Center capabilities and procedures.
• Leads incident response programs and tabletop exercises.
• Manages vulnerability management and risk-based prioritization.
• Oversees identity and access management strategy and controls.
• Leads HIPAA security compliance and auditing support.
• Establishes data governance for sensitive data and PHI.
