Job summary

LCS is seeking a Vice President, Information Security to lead enterprise security strategy, governance, and risk management across its nationwide communities. You will guide senior stakeholders, drive a security-first culture, and ensure regulatory compliance and resilience while balancing business objectives.

You will oversee risk management programs, vendor security, and incident response, partnering with executive leadership to protect resident and employee data and critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive information security or cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience managing information security teams and enterprise security programs.
• Experience developing and executing enterprise cybersecurity strategies within complex, multi-site organizations.
• Experience leading cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, and security operations functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing significant cybersecurity incidents and organizational risk mitigation efforts.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001); security operations and incident response; vulnerability management and threat intelligence; IAM; cloud security; SIEM; data protection and privacy regulations; third-party risk management; business continuity and disaster recovery; security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise information security strategy aligned with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Establish long-term cybersecurity vision, goals, and performance measures for operations and communities.
• Serve as senior information security advisor to executives and stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on security posture, threats, and risk remediation.
• Foster a culture of security awareness, accountability, and risk management.
• Collaborate on risk-based adoption strategies for new technologies such as AI.
• Lead enterprise governance, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee third-party risk management and vendor security requirements.
• Manage budgets, resources, and team performance.
