Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Applications Development Group Manager in Rutherford, NJ to lead multiple teams delivering enterprise applications.

You will drive analysis, architecture, and delivery practices across agile and waterfall projects, coordinating with business stakeholders and offshore teams to meet strategic goals. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Java development, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of enterprise web architectures, Spring, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java development.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and hire/disciplines.
• Experience building enterprise web applications and multi‑tier architectures.
• Strong communication, planning, and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish goals and personnel duties.
• Provide strategic influence over resources, budget and planning.
• Collaborate with product owners and SMEs to perform detailed requirements analysis.
• Oversee design, construction and unit testing of components/modules.
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders and bridge offshore communication.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies.
