Job summary
Phoenix Tailings seeks a Vice President of Engineering Projects to lead the execution of its major capital projects, including the Freedom facility and future scalable production assets. You will own delivery from engineering development through startup and handoff, establishing governance and partnerships to achieve safe, efficient performance.
The role requires directing EPC/EPCM teams, managing capital budgets, and driving risk management while aligning with Phoenix Tailings’ manufacturing
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience delivering major capital projects.
- Experience directing EPC/EPCM or owner-led project delivery models.
- Proven track record of taking complex facilities from design through handoff.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering and execution strategy for major capital projects including the Freedom facility and future assets.
- Own project delivery across engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning, and startup.
- Direct and manage EPCM firms, engineering consultants, construction partners, and equipment suppliers.
- Establish governance, stage-gate processes, design review standards, and cost controls.
