Techno Consult Engineering, PC invites a strategic Vice President of Engineering Design to oversee multidisciplinary design programs across transportation, water, facilities, and public infrastructure. Based in New York, you will drive planning, coordination, and execution with senior engineering teams.

You will mentor staff, ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance, manage budgets and schedules, support proposals, and cultivate client relationships while aligning design work with project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• PE license required; state registration preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering design leadership in consulting or infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering design projects across transportation, water, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Oversee design quality, budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
• Manage engineering teams and coordinate design efforts across disciplines.
• Serve as a technical advisor and maintain strong client relationships.
• Review design documents and ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
• Resolve technical challenges and support innovative, practical solutions.
• Support business development through proposals, presentations, and client pursuits.
• Partner with project managers to align design execution with project goals.
• Mentor engineering staff and support professional development.
