WSP USA is seeking a Vice President, Civil Engineering to lead our Northeast Civil Transportation team in NYC/Valhalla, NY. This role drives strategy, project execution, and client relations across major infrastructure programs, ensuring compliance and profitability.

The position requires senior leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to manage multi-project portfolios while mentoring staff and advancing safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in civil and infrastructure design.
• Advanced proficiency in civil engineering principles, practices, and permitting.
• Advanced infrastructure design experience and regulatory knowledge.
• Strong leadership, communication, and QA/QC capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the civil engineering discipline and function.
• Lead large-scale projects, manage budgets, hours, and subcontractors.
• Develop business pipelines and oversee execution of infrastructure work.
• Lead contract negotiations, presentations, and client meetings.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC and safety compliance.
