Job summary

MedInsight, a Milliman subsidiary in Seattle, seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead a 100-person global team across data, platform, and AI engineering. You will shape strategy, improve delivery, and drive responsible AI-enabled innovation to support a market-leading healthcare analytics business.

The role requires deep executive leadership, strong cloud/data platform expertise, and the ability to translate technology investments into measurable client value.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including significant executive-level responsibility.
• Experience building and scaling large engineering organizations with measurable impact.
• Strong background in data-intensive environments, data warehousing and analytics platforms.
• Proven ability to translate technology investments into business outcomes.
• Excellent executive communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a long-term engineering strategy aligned with MedInsight's business and product objectives.
• Improve engineering velocity, delivery predictability, quality, reliability, security, and operational excellence.
• Establish consistent engineering standards, architecture practices, automation, observability, and scalable processes.
• Accelerate AI-enabled innovation and adoption across products and platforms.
• Build and develop a strong engineering leadership organization and talent strategy.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Analytics/Data Science, Security, and Executive Leadership.
