Milliman’s MedInsight unit seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead a ~100-person global engineering group, spanning application development, data engineering, platform engineering, AI, and operations. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will shape strategy, raise delivery standards, and drive AI-enabled innovation.

The role requires executive leadership, strong business judgment, and the ability to translate technology investments into measurable client value in a healthcare

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience.
• Executive leadership responsibility at scale.
• Experience leading data-intensive tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a long-term engineering strategy aligned with MedInsight's business and product objectives.
• Improve engineering velocity, delivery predictability, quality, reliability, security, testing, and operational excellence.
• Establish consistent engineering standards, architecture practices, automation, observability, and scalable development processes.
• Accelerate AI-enabled innovation across products, engineering, and operations.
• Build and develop a strong engineering leadership organization and succession pipeline.
