Job summary

R3 Lithium, Covington, GA, seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead design, development, and construction of our plants, ensuring materials meet high standards and supporting capacity expansion in North America.

You will oversee engineering strategy, build a high-performing team, and collaborate with R&D, operations, and supply chain, reporting to the CEO in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in engineering management; battery materials or related industries a plus.
• Experience leading large-scale engineering projects, especially facility construction.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• International expansion experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct all engineering activities and projects within the organization.
• Develop the engineering strategy aligned with company goals and capacity expansion.
• Provide technical guidance for engineered materials and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, operations, and supply chain.
• Manage the engineering budget and implement best practices in project management.
• Represent engineering to executives, investors, and regulatory bodies.
